Answers to common questions
Free! We don’t charge for the basic version of Stock Brief. We also offer a pro plan that has some more features for a small monthly fee. Read more about our plans here.
We work on a freemium model. We hope that a small percentage of users upgrade to a paid plan to help us cover costs. Occasionally, we may put some sponsored messages on the emails, but it won't be obtrusive or impact the email's content.
By default, the emails are sent every night after a trading day (e.g. for a standard trading week, you’ll receive an email at 8:30pm on Mondays to Fridays).
You can also optionally change to a weekly only summary email that has all announcements and price movement for the week. Pro users can have both emails (a daily and weekly).
Additionally, we occasionally send out an update email with some market news and product updates (not more than once a fortnight, usually less – as we are too busy to write them).
The emails show for each stock that you have selected:
You can also see a screenshot of an email from Stock Brief on our home page. Or just sign up to see!
Right now, just the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). We may consider more in the future (we do own the domain stockbrief.com, so we should make use of it globally).
Additionally, there are a range of global indexes, currencies and commodities available for pro users. If you're a pro user and want us to try and grab a few international stocks for you, please contact us and we'll try and help.
You select them on sign up. Additionally, you can click log in to your account and edit. This is a 'magic' sign on link. Each email also has a "manage stocks" link.
Damn. Sorry to see you go. There is an unsubscribe link in your email called "Stop tracking stocks". Please click this link to unsubscribe.
